2023 North Texas Hispanic Heritage Events

Hispanic Heritage Month takes place from September 15 to October 15 every year as a time to recognize and celebrate the many contributions, diverse cultures, and extensive histories of Hispanic Americans.

DFW Hispanic Heritage Month Events


The Fort Worth Botanic Garden invites guests to ¡Celebramos! A Celebration of Latin American Culture & Heritage, from September 15 through October 15, including performances and exhibitions, dining and shopping opportunities, and more.

Guests will enjoy a presentation of Latin American culture through art, native plants, and garden design throughout the entire campus. The celebration during Hispanic Heritage Month will feature numerous events, art exhibits, and unique new experiences for guests visiting the campus.


Fiestas Patrias

Sunday, September 17, 2023 | 12-9 PM | La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth

La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth will celebrate "Las Fiestas Patrias" - one of the largest cultural festivals with live music entertainment in the DFW area. The "Grito de Dolores" also known as the "Grito de Independencia", or the "Declaration of Independence" is recited by the Mexican Consulate's Consul General of Dallas on the center stage. This all-day festival unites the community celebrating the Mexican culture and heritage here in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The event will consist of two stages one inside La Gran Plaza and the other outside in the north parking lot, entertainment will begin at 12 p.m.

Welcome to Firmepalooza! Join us for a fantastic evening filled with music, food, and fun! This in-person event will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 1311 South Ervay Street, Dallas, TX 75215. Get ready to groove to the beats and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere while raising money for first-generation college students!

This fundraising event features live music from five amazing local bands, highlighting Latino talent in Dallas. This end-of-summer bash will include some Firme DFW staples such as flash tattoos, food & drink vendors, vintage, vinyl records, and jewelry.
