Thank you for helping us make our candidate evaluation tool as useful and impactful as possible!
Last year, over 3000 voters visited our school board information hub to view candidate questionnaires and find other pertinent details regarding school board elections. Next spring, our goal is to triple that number by providing community members with an easy way to make an informed vote. Our candidate evaluation tool is designed to help voters rate candidate questionnaire responses (in both English and Spanish) against proven criteria of effective school board trustees and ultimately select candidates who will put students first and be laser-focused on student outcomes.
Instructions:
Click on the button below to begin testing the candidate evaluation tool for the fictional Springfield ISD. As you go through the tool, please pretend you are a voter visiting Leadership ISD’s website to learn more about the candidates in your district and follow whatever path feels natural to you. After you are finished using the candidate evaluation tool, we will ask you to complete a short survey and then join our focus group discussion. Please do not view the feedback survey prior to testing the tool.
