Zak is a Manager at the Commit Partnership, providing consulting and strategy support across Texas. He has a diverse background in social sector consulting and is driven by a passion to address intergenerational poverty both domestically and internationally. Prior to Commit, Zak completed a Master in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he focused on social sector management and economic development. He previously worked for the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC, where he helped to drive the think-tank’s Foreign Policy portfolio through development and operations management. His consulting experience has included work with social enterprises and large international development NGOs in East Africa and Southeast Asia, helping organizations to improve program effectiveness and partnership strategies. Zak also graduated summa cum laude from Pepperdine University with undergraduate degrees in Economics and International Relations.
