Stephen works as a trial lawyer in the Office of the Federal Public Defender where he represents indigent clients accused of federal crimes. Before joining the Office, he clerked for U.S. District Judge Marcia Crone in the Eastern District of Texas. Prior to attending law school, Stephen taught high-school history at an underprivileged school in New York City through Teach for America. Additionally, Stephen works to mentor refugee families new to Dallas through the International Rescue Committee. In his free time, Stephen enjoys training for triathlons, traveling with his wife, and rooting for the once-mighty Longhorns.
