Rodney Wade oversees business operations at the Law Office of Jason Amon including finance, marketing, human resources, information technology, and he leads the firm’s business planning and strategy.
He previously worked for 20 years in the health insurance industry where he held a range of leadership roles supporting healthcare data analytics and oversaw a team of database programmers tasked with scouring billions of medical claims to identify incorrect payments, and fraud & abuse of healthcare providers and consumers. He is a graduate of the Emerging Leader program and served as Co-Chair of the company’s LGBT Employee Resource Group where he worked with senior executive leadership to promote diversity and inclusion efforts for employees and customers. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
He has held volunteer positions with the Fairmount Neighborhood Association as Director of Communications and a member of the Historic Preservation Committee. He serves on the Cook Children’s Medical Center Family Advisory Council, is Chair of the Fort Worth ISD Special Education Advisory Committee, and he is a founding member and Treasurer of his children’s elementary school PTA. He is a founding member and President of the FWISD Special Education PTA, the district’s first and only district-wide PTA and one of only 3 such organizations in Texas.
Mr. Wade and his husband have two children who attend FWISD. They live in the Fairmount Historic District in the Gunhild-Weber Home which is recorded as a Texas Historic Landmark.
