Roderick Miles is the Executive Administrator of Programs and Outreach for Tarrant County Commissioner Roy Charles Brooks Precinct 1. He oversees all the Commissioners outreach initiatives and programs. Prior to joining Commissioner Brooks staff, Roderick worked for Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star where he served as the African American Partnership Manager for North Texas and Greater Houston. His primary focus was to develop partnerships with government entities, corporate partners, faith-based organizations, and community based groups to increase the number of volunteers to mentor children of color. Roderick is a native of Fort Worth. He earned his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Philander Smith College in Little Rock, AR, and has completed hours towards his Maters of Divinity at St. Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, MO.
