Reggie Robinson is a transformational leader who is committed to providing educational experiences that enhance the competitive advantage in underrepresented youth. His studies of biology and engineering at the University of Texas in Arlington and Educational Leadership at Texas Christian University lead him to the nonprofit sector where he serves as the Director of Green Revolution – an Environmental STEM, positive-youth-development, out-of-school-time program (grades 6 – 12) that provides educational experiences to enrich the natural curiosity in youth.
Bringing a diverse range of approaches to the work, Reggie delivers high-level programing, mentoring, and other learning opportunities for participants. After interfacing with the far reaching devastation caused by illiteracy, Reggie has committed himself to becoming an accelerator of literacy engagement, advocacy, and progress for his community. With his passions triangulating at literacy, leading, and learning, his sights are set on starting a nonprofit that empowers parents to become full partners in the success of their children through literacy. Until then, Reggie loves to cozy up next to his daughter and read during his free time.
