Paula is a full-time mom and community volunteer. After graduating from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus in math and biology, Paula taught for Department of Defense schools in Germany. Upon returning stateside, she received an M.Ed. in Language & Literacy and taught in Episcopal schools. After the birth of her first child, she chose to be a full-time mom. Paula devoted the next years to raising her family and serving the community. She has been active in her children’s schools, her church, the Austin Street Center, the Grant Halliburton Foundation, and her biggest passion, St. Philip’s School and Community Center where she has served as a member of the Board of Trustees, Philanthropy Liaison, and Co-Chair of the 2016 Destiny Luncheon. Through her extensive travels and volunteer work, Paula has seen first hand the value of education, compassion, and the role non-profits play in improving lives.
