Katherine harbors a strong belief in the potential of educational equity, stemming from her Teach For America experience in Houston during the organization’s earliest years. She also worked with international students on a grant-funded exchange program and was the director of an international school program in St. Petersburg, Russia. After receiving a MA in administration and policy analysis, Katherine moved to Boston to become a Director with Eduventures, a market research and consulting firm for education businesses, where she managed the firm’s research and publications. Most recently, she served in volunteer capacities in schools in Dallas and Dubai. She is on the board of talkSTEM, a STEM advocacy group and works with the P3 Network to support North Dallas literacy efforts.
