Dr. Jerry Wallace supports the development and implementation of recruitment and retention initiatives in an effort to increase college admission and enrollment for students from low-socio economic areas. His work includes collaborating with local schools and colleges in establishing partnerships with community agencies.
Dr. Wallace earned his Ed.D in Educational Leadership, M.Ed in Supervision and BFA in Graphic Design from Lamar University. He was an inaugural graduate fellow for the Texas Association of Black Personnel in Higher Education, he is a graduate of the Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education-Leadership Educators Institute, and a graduate fellow for the American Association of Blacks in Higher Education-Leadership and Mentoring Institute. He is an active member of the 100 Black Men-Emerging 100 Houston Chapter.
