Aracely Chavez truly believes that education is a way out of poverty. Her professional experience includes 10 years in higher education and 17 years at K-12. This experience includes FWISD, Tarrant County College and Texas Wesleyan University. At TCC, she was instrumental in setting up six learning centers across Tarrant County for adult basic skills and GED attainment. A life long learner, Aracely enjoys mentoring and connecting with people. Some of her mentees are now principals or educational leaders.
