Antonia “Toni” Pryor works a nurse practitioner at Texas Oncology, supporting three physicians in an outpatient radiation oncology office. She spends her time assisting patients with advance care planning, educating them on the treatment they are going to receive, and providing palliative care to improve the quality of life for her patients. She received a BS in Nursing from Georgetown University. After graduation, she worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York where she developed a passion for caring for patients facing cancer. She received her MS in Nursing, with a concentration in oncology, from Yale University in 2015. She moved to Texas shortly after graduation with her husband, William Leavitt, who is also an LISD fellow.
