Andrea is a career independent school educator, with over 14 years experience at a variety of schools around the US. She primarily taught elementary grades, focusing on language arts. She is passionate about literacy and helping students to see themselves as readers and writers, with individual thoughts and voice. Currently, Andrea is the Director of Curriculum at Good Shepherd Episcopal School, where she oversees the academic program and teacher development. Additionally, she serves as the P3 Commit! representative for Good Shepherd, which helps build partnerships between private and public schools within DISD. She holds a BA in Literary Studies from UTD and a MA in Childhood Education from Manhattanville College.
