Amanda Muhammad is a mindfulness-based Stress Management Consultant and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Kansas in Management & Leadership, with a concentration in Human Resources, and a Master’s Degree from Baker University in Organizational Leadership. After several years of experience in various career fields, she found love in teaching others and helping them maximize their potential. Amanda uses scientifically supported mindfulness practices as a tool for teaching resilience, self-care, and enabling restorative practices and social-emotional learning skills. Amanda facilitates wellness classes, resilience coaching, a variety of workshops, and hosts Dynamic Mindfulness trainings. She’s had the opportunity to share her practice with a number of individuals, organizations, schools, and companies in the DFW Metroplex. In addition to her physical work in DFW, she operates Mako Mindfulness, a web-based educational platform created to teach you how to build resilience to stress and learn tips for incorporating self-care throughout your day.
