Melanie Robinson (Dallas ’19) has spent her career working in nonprofit development and education. Most recently, Melanie served as the Associate of Institutional Giving at Teach for America where she managed the AmeriCorps partnership. Previously, she taught in Boston and Dallas public schools. It was her work in the classroom and community that ignited a unswerving belief in the potential for all kids to succeed. As a Leadership ISD fellow she grew impassioned about school finance, community accountability, and board governance (and will gladly wax poetic about all). She holds a bachelor’s degree from Birmingham-Southern College in Spanish and a master’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Special Education. Melanie is an avid trivia player, a lover of corny jokes, and a slightly below average runner.
