Participate on an Action Team.
The cohort will be broken up into small action teams focused on helping to propose, pass, or evaluate a policy to close disparities and improve student outcomes. The time commitment will vary depending on the scope and timeline of the project, but will be around 3 hours per month.
[Optional] Attend school site-visits.
Around 20 different opportunities for campus visits will be scheduled throughout the program year that you will have the option to join if able. Visits are generally scheduled on a weekday morning and last about 1.5 hours.
Leadership ISD is a tuition based program with the following fee structure:
- $250 teachers and campus staff
- $500 for school administrators
Leadership ISD works hard to make sure that tuition cost is not a barrier to participation. Generous scholarships are available for individuals in need of financial assistance. Scholarship applications do not factor into Fellow selection and are sent out after we have selected our cohort.
