In five years, Leadership ISD will have over 700 program graduates across Dallas, Tarrant, and Harris Counties with the knowledge, experience, and skills to influence systemic change to education in Texas. We have developed additional training and support systems to scale impact through our alumni pathways:
Alumni looking to further develop advocacy skills will practice power mapping, building tactical plans, facilitating diverse coalitions, conducting equity assessments, and refining their public voice.
Alumni planning to run for elected office will receive training on roles and responsibilities of trustees, developing a policy platform, managing a campaign, building coalitions, and fundraising.
Alumni wanting to support on the ground implementation of policies and practices through service on nonprofit boards, SBDM committees, district task forces, or feeder pattern advisory boards can access training in board management, analyzing data, strategic planning, design thinking, and consensus building.
